Who Let Her On The Microphone?

I have finally finished downloading my holiday photos and will shortly begin the inevitable recount of events but firstly, I feel I must regale you with an account of Wednesday night's frolics.

I am afraid when I am 'let off the leash,' ie children and husband both away and no school tomorrow (yeeeeehaw), I seem to have no self control whatsoever.
I was going to give you my 'version' of events but The Bestie has beaten me to it and tells the tale as well if not better than I could.

Duck over and see what slander she is spreading!

Then come back and tell me how you don't believe a WORD of it!!!!!

All I have to say is, where are the pictures!? Someone had to have had at least a camera phone.

Interestingly, none of us have camera phones. The younger people who DID have cameras were completely uninterested in taking pictures of the aging diva doing Tina Turner impersonations. They were however, completely engrossed in talking to anyone and everyone they knew who was NOT in the karaoke bar at that time. This would take place on the dance floor, at the bar, whilst on the microphone I believe one stopped to take a call. Sheesh. What is the matter with the younger generation???

You were put on this earth to be a professional performer. Do it.

The next time we are around the "Besties" domain I will make sure that a camera is present and I will be able to show you some of the arizaphale antics. I think it may have been sparked by the Muscle Bound Fu**** that she encountered on the train in Sydney

That sounds like an event that certainly should have been captured on film or video or something! :)

Sounds like a riotous time! Sorry to have missed it.

My God! I can picture it now and hooted out loud to such an extent that your niece dragged herself away from the telly to see what was so funny! Needless to say she didn't quite get it! Sad and glad I wasn't there in equal measure as your youngest sister who still manages to get embarrassed by your singing antics! Glad you had fun though! :>)
