Theme Thursday: Now is the WINTER of our discontent.....

Did I mention I was the only one in the house who changed the toilet roll??????? What I want to know is.....if they can take em OFF the holder........why can't they put one ON????????????????
And is the 15 sec walk to the recycling too far to manage? AND..........how are they WASHING THEIR HANDS if the sink is full of toilet rolls?????????????????????????????????????????

I'm feeling pretty WINTERY towards the males in my household at present.

Taken with a Nikon Coolpix 5000. I think I pressed a button that changed an ISO setting. Don't ask me what it changed it to..........

For some real Winter, go see

That happens in MY house too!!!!! I don't get it either. I think they forget how to do it... haha. Who knows. Love the shot! And what a cute little sink! :)

OH MY...it has struck your house, too. I love your take on Winter...so creative. And I kinda like the ISO oops...it is cool!

I feel you pain, chickadee. I think it's in their DNA, they just can't figure out how to get the roll back on the holder. Kind of makes you wonder about the hand washing... eew.

Ha ha ha. Good question - you would think it isn't that hard to actually put the new roll on. Perhaps the ability to do that is lacking in the male genes...

Too funny! I'm sure it really would be inconvenient to put the rolls in recycling!

oh i love this! that's the best interpretation of "winter" so far!! :)

LOL! Yes, I would be "wintery" towards that, too. What is it with males?? My dad was the same way with the toilet rolls. The hubby is actually good. Our son, however, doesn't understand why he needs to wash his hands after going potty. >:(

i don't know which is worse, men or little boys! (shudder)

Great post!

LOL! I love it! I'm fortunate to have a husband that both changes the roll AND puts the toilet seat down when finished!

Very nice interpretation of winter. :)

I love your beach shots below this post, too!!

There must be an anti-toilet roll changing gene in all men! It's like that here, too.

This is a very creative interpretation and I love it !!!

How ARE they washing their hands !?

Check out our Aussie "snow" ... Winter?

I, too, am lucky to have a Hub that completes that task. Still working on the youngins though.

LOL! You are too funny! it must be a universal complaint...I deal with the same thing here. And man, that's one narrow sink - cute!

Love this take on the theme! And it could have been taken in my house too. Doggone it. :)

Thank you for your kind comments today. It's good to be back.

I'm the "change" here, too. What is their deal?? I had this situation just this morning, but I think it was my daughter who left me high and dry.

I am tagging you for a meme---just do it if you want to!

I cry - unfair to men! But probably true. Men bunch a lot and only wipe backwards, leaving about 3 layers for their loved ones to wipe forwards - and the empty roll.

As far as toilet seats, leave them all down, including the lid (which is genderless, but both pet-proof and doesn't throw E. coli 20ft).

Men would probably wash their hands more if they found a sink without undergarments soaking.

And get a bidet.
