Theme Thursday: Star

I was floundering about for Theme Thursday this week when the Baby Angel came home from Sports day with these.

Section: Girls Born 1995
Hurdles: First
100m: First
200m: First
Discus: First
Long Jump: First
Shotput: Second

Relay race for girls born in 1994 (racing a year above her age)
First.

Now that's what I call a STAR!!!!!!!!

What a pity there was absolutely none of us there to see her in her moment of glory. That's the price you pay for nearly full time work. Even worse when she tells you she 'doesn't really mind'.
What a knife in a mother's heart.

For more starry eyed moments, check out Theme Thursday at Picture This.

She is a star. I hope one of my girls turns out to be athletic. I'm putting that pressure on V.

A shame about the library. The shame here is that more people go to the bookstore than they do the library.

And thanks for your sweet comments and ego boost. I don't think I've ever gotten so many compliments in my life. Maile made me look good.

Yeah, I understand about the full time job and missing some important moments.
