The Formal 2011

For those of you who don't frequent facebook (where the photos are posted the next day), here is my Baby Angel in all her glory at the school Formal.
It was a huge night, for all concerned-we didn't pick her up from the after party until 3am!!!!

Where We Are

Ah Adelaide, Adelaide, ever lovin' Adelaide..........

We live in the capital city of the driest state in the driest continent. A city of around 1,000,000 people, stretched out along a **** km coastline and sandwiched in tightly by the Mount Lofty Ranges in the East. The city of Pubs and Churches, Adelaide, is unique in the history of British colonisation of Terra Australis in that it was a free settlement. It remains a very introspect state, isolated as it is by an 8 hour drive to its nearest major city neighbour, Melbourne in the east and an enormous, half a continent trip to its western neighbour, Perth.

Despite its isolation, Adelaide thrives on its Arts and culture. Many creatively and intellectually great Australians were spawned on the Adelaide Plains. Hans Heyson, Albert Namatjira, Peter Weir, Robert Helpmann, and Howard Florey
to name a few.
