Sunscreen: There's a Concept

We are suffering from hideously, dangerously hot weather in Adelaide at the moment. 42C at 5pm this afternoon!! So what did my Baby Angel do on the last day of her holidays? She went outside with her friends and had a water fight in her bathers. Now, this would seem, on the face of it, to be a sensible, cooling idea but consider dear reader, the colour of my Baby Angel's delicate skin! Having been a previous resident of Blister City on a number of occasions, you would think she had sufficient functioning neurons to remember what 3rd degree burns on her back felt like.

Apparently not.

So this evening saw me applying that age old remedy, natural yoghurt!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Delightful

Natural Yoghurt. Never heard that one, but it makes sense. Do wrnot eat yoghurt along with burn-inducing Indian food and sour cream with Mexican?

Ouch. But over here we are wishing we had a little of that burn because we are cold. Even in S. Texas this week it is cold. COLD.

Ouch! As a fair skinned girl myself, I can identify with the pain of a sunburn... I have never heard of yogurt for a burn - how interesting!

owch!!!!! I didn't know that about yogurt!!! Here everyone keeps saying it's going to snow. I'd rather have the sunburn!

Same happened to my hubs the other week - although he kept claiming it didn't hurt.
