Brief Interlude

It is just not right. I should not have to be ordering flowers for my friend's funeral. I should not have to be thinking of what to say on the card. To whom? To her? To them?

It is just not right.

I know I should be thinking of her family and their pain. I know that I should be grateful that she isn't suffering anymore. I know I should be feeling bad for the fact that she doesn't get to see her grandchildren grow up.

But right now, I just feel robbed.

It is not right.

You honour her with your grief. Don't be ashamed of it.

But if you didn't feel it it means she wasn't loved and isn't missed. Do her the honor and grieve for her. You will find peace soon. xxxxx

Oh, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I agree...honor her by grieving for her and remembering her.

Hugs to you.

It isn't right, not one bit.
But your love shines through-
Thinking of you sweetie.

Thinking of you.

Can not imagine how that feels, but wishing that your sorrow will ease and the memory of your treasured friend will prevail.

Oh no! I've been pretty absent lately and missed this. I'm so sorry. I think you'll have time and the emotional energy for her family's pain later. Just take care of yourself at first and get through the days. Their pain will be there for you to address for a good long time to come. Again I am sorry.

There were so many people to honour her at the church and the wake. They were there for Wendy!!
In fact a good deal of the town were there, over 500 people attended according to the police count.
There was a huge outpouring of grief. Many men were crying and Tom Barry couldn't come in the church, it was too much for him, he met us.
