Voila! My first Crafty Tuesday post in an embarrassingly long time. This is one of two dresses I made (I forgot to shoot the other one) for the school dance team that were off to the Regional Semi Finals last weekend. The other one was the same style, just in a plain red satin. I liked this one better anyway :-)This is the first real project I have completed with my new machine. Oh I have reinforced the butts on a few pairs of jeans and started the BA's bright red dress but this is the first start to finish project I have managed. Of course it took me until Wednesday 4.30 am to complete it. But I think it turned out ok?

That is very cute - great job on it! HOpe you machine worked on it like you wanted. :) I got nothin' done this past week...just working on the yard. Luckily the children still fit into their clothes from last summer. It went from cold and windy last week to hot and humid this week. We just can't get a break!
Ugh...the weather! It's freezing cold here now. I'm not sure that working on your yard doesn't count though...I mean, your yard is pretty awesome! Very creative.

Love it - you are very clever. I have just got my sewing machine out for the first time in years and made some nice roman blinds for 2 windows in one of the bedrooms. I am quite pleased with the results and really enjoyed making them. I am inspired to do more now by both my success and your lovely dress!
