Theme Thursday: Wildlife

You want wild? Teenage kittens are the definition of wild. Nothing is safe. Everything is prey.
The streamers from last week's failed maths lesson were great prey. They were also a little difficult to manage and often appeared to be moving en masse up the hallway.....with Morticia inside! After a shopping trip on Saturday we returned to find the streamers wound around the legs of most of the furniture in the house. I should've taken a photo but I haven't been feeling like taking photos recently as I am so frustrated by cameras.

So this is the 'wildlife' in our house. For more wild things, join Stacey over at the Land of KA.

And although this isn't strictly a Theme Thursday offering...here's a video for good measure!

I completely agree with you, teenage kittens rule the roost and get into everything. Looks like lots of fun though. :)

That little cutie is wild?? Are you sure?? :) Kittens are like babies, right? Even though they may not let you sleep and do things you'd rather they not...they are so cute you can't hold a grudge!

Oh my god! You are making me want to run out an adopt another kitten, which would get me kicked to the curb! I told SOB the story about the fountain and he almost died! Hope Himself if being more careful!

Cute! You know, I love that everything is prey with my cats. That way I can follow their obsession with flies and find them since my pathetic eyes can't track that fast!

Ha ha -- she is just so stinkin' cute!

Have you tried to wrap presents with the little kitten yet? Wait until you try to use curling ribbon with a cat around -- talk about a challenge!

The puppy doesn't stand a chance.
Oh, I need to have a kitten again! It has been 12 long years since our cats were that small and sweet!

So, so cute! Oh, I am loving her adventures!! I was so busy yesterday that I was unable to post on the wildlife theme, but I was going to use a shot of Norton rolling around in my BRA! (yes, I said bra) I caught him and almost ruined a great shot because I laughed so loud, but I managed to grab the camera in time. I lovedreading everyone else's comments, as they are all so true. Isn't having a kitten the best thing?? I know Himself might "humph" to that, and your older cat might growl-but they are bundles of energy and every day is an adventure. Thanks so much for continuing the saga of Morticia...

Ah, too sweet to be the wild one you say.

And yes, what do those Australian "w" words mean?
