Inspired By The Show

After my last post I was moved to get out the quilt I had started some years ago after our school production of 'Annie'. As well as stage managing, I was in charge of costumes and was moved to create a palette of faded glory for our orphans. I loved these fabrics and therefore, for my first sojourn into quilt making I decided to use the leftovers. It's kind of olde worlde and perhaps not to everyone's taste, but it is my 'Annie' quilt with the memories of rehearsals, recalcitrant sewing machines and singing along backstage (badly ) that come with it. I'm happy it's done.

Hmmm, I would be a little cautious about showing it to a psychiatrist :)

Very pretty! I love that it has memories for you, too. The color palette is very pretty and "calming". Glad you got out your sewing machine and finished it up!
